  • I replace the old PO722 Output sensor with a new OEM shaft Output sensor.... I then checked the codes again and this time I get PO720 & PO722.. The new sensor made no difference... My problem is only in reverse - When on a minor hill it will not back up or a strain in reverse... Flat /level no problem unless I give it more gas than needed.... The OD light Blinks - However the engine light does not come on at all.... Any suggestions - Thank You...

  • At this point my only suggestion is to have a transmission shop inspect the transmission. According to a national database of repairs for your model year, if you have both of the codes, unfortunately the most likely cause if the transmission assembly.
