P1564 Nissan Code - ASCD Steering Switch

yea i did change the power steering sensor also the crankshaft sensor yet the fault code kept coming and vehicle refuse to start

What model and year is your Nissan. The code is for the "Cruise Control" steering switch and not for the power steering sensor or crankshaft position sensor.

Do you have any other codes besides the P1564? If you have no other codes, then the Cruise Control Steering Switch is the most likely cause. If there are no codes, but the Cruise Control doesn't work, your first step is to check for codes. Without the code, you are just guessing what the problem is.

I have a 2005 nissan murano awd, I have the same code, the car feels like have a misfire on the motor, and when I press the gas pedal feels worst and just stop with no reason, also smell like a mixture is too much gas on it, only have p1564 code nothing else

The P1564 code is not related to the symptoms you have. Unfortunately, there are many things that could cause those symptoms. I suggest starting by changing the gas brand you are using, if possible, add a fuel additive. If the problem persists, you should consider changing the spark plugs and air filter.

Could this code be related to faulty clock spring in my 2011 titan? I have all the associated codes for that and the airbag light flashing....

Yes, the wires to the cruise control switch go through the clock spring.

I have a 07 Nissan Xterra, a year ago my Xterra had an issue with no start . I turned the key no click, but all dash lights, stereo came on. My cruise control worked before this happened. First diagnostic could not be read. Second diagnostic came out Valve Body. I replaced Valve Body received the Xterra back and about a month I tried my cruise control and it doesn't work the green light flashes as i push button. the code is 1564 , I'm not understanding why it doesn't work anymore . Question.. also at times when I turn key it does not crank over , I turn the key on and off real fast and it starts. It doesn"t click as if its the starter. New battery . Thank you , Xterra girl..
