Discuss the causes and fixes for P1572 Nissan OBDII Code

  • Hi, I'm asking this question because I didn't see anyone talking about it nor did I find some information while researching on the web. What would happen if both brake switches (ASCD and stop light switches) would remain on at the same time (permitting the current to pass) without or while touching the brake pedal ,due to a faulty component or 2, either while driving or the engine off. Thank you for your time.

  • If both switches are ON, the brake light will be ON all the time and you won't be able to set the cruise control. Also, the switch code will set.
