  • After 3 EGR/DPFE assemblies, 3 different mechanics and over $600.00 later on misdiagnosed problem, A trip to the Ford Dealer revealed that my P1406 code on my 2004 Lincoln Aviator was actually caused by a bad mass air flow sensor!
