    The transfer case module also known as the final drive control module controls front to back torque but also sends a message to the ELSD module the message is sent in bits ID if any of the bits doesn’t get through (bad wire contacts) it will then become an implausible message the ELSD will default to 0lb torque and relay this message on to the ELSD Motor the motor will confirm that it has received this message back to the ELSD module and the electronic limited slip diff module passes the information to the transfer case module which then becomes an implausible message because it is 0 lb and not the (80 lb ). that was the requested torque in this instance, it’s allowed about 20% difference this is to allow for wear in the motor so now you have two faults but are from the same source.
