Every time the sensor is powered up it sends an initialization message containing the sensor serial number to the OCM. If the Left Front Passenger Seat Weight Sensor 5 volt supply is temporarily interrupted resulting in the sensor powering up more than one time in the same ignition cycle the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) will be set.
