U11C6 MeaningThis diagnostic determines the availability of the static indicated engine torque signal, the engine friction torque signal, and the indicated driver torque request signal sent by the Powertrain Control Module (PCM) via two Controller Area Network (CAN) messages. The diagnostic determines the availability by checking the valid bit. When the signals are not available, the PCM sends a Signal Not Available (SNA) default value to the Transmission Control Module (TCM). If the TCM reads this value then the Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) U11C6 is set.
