    We have a 1999 GMC Jimmy Envoy 4x4, problem, stalls, stumbles while driving in hot AZ. Restarts but dies
    setting for 5 to 10 min. will start and drive away but dies again you can't make it to far. I had just filled the gas tank at Costco. No tools the next towed it home, DTC scanner showed no codes, drained all gas out of tank thinking water or filter problem. Fuel was clean I drained it through Schrader valve while vehicle was running. While running vehicle it stalled and fuel pressure stayed at 52-54 PSI, I thought it was fuel but it wasn't no codes with $25 dollar cheap scanner. Bought a better scanner pulled two codes P0463 Fuel level sensor high voltage, gas gauge quit over a year ago and reads fuel to half tank only. i just set the trip Odometer before 300 miles I get gas! The other code is U1041 code went through all 3 grounds wire brushed and reinstalled, fuses ok switched ABS relays in fuse box, EBCM connecters ok on EBCM, BRAKES worked find no problems. No ABS codes with the $150 dollar scanner I cant believe that! Looking at voltages on scanner Spark, fuel trim, crank sensor, TP, HEGOs, when it stalls look good. Battery voltage looks low to me only 12.6 volts and goes up to 13.5 volts, with RPM increase.
    Looks like I need to take to dealer that have a better scanner than what I have. Looks like EBCM to me no ABS light on or check engine light just service engine light on. I read all your answers to the U1041 code and it was the only clear answers, thank you. The GMC we had for 5 years has 106K California used vehicle from older couple the torsion front suspension I don't care for but its been a great vehicle. Your thoughts
