2013 Tahoe - P219a code here is a new twist, the service engine light only comes on during cooler weather. Over 45 or 50 degrees it goes out, under 40 or 45 degrees it comes on. Been going on for a couple years now. While still under warranty at first dealership talked with GM and they said clean the injectors. Did that, paid the bill, including troubleshooting, and it made no difference. PITA

I haven't really checked anything as yet. The GM dealer has not offered any more than "bring it in and we'll see what we can find". Since it is out of basic warranty it now depends on what the problem is whether or not it would fall under the engine and powertrain warranty. I'm not interested in handing them a blank check so I thought I'd see what I could find on line. Hoses are certainly easy enough to check. manifold gaskets not so much. I was thinking, hoping, something along the lines of a connection that was poor enough that it failed in colder weather and picked up with warmer weather. The weather is crappy here this week. Once it warms and dries off I plan to check the O2 connectors.
