I have a 2007 Suburban LTZ, and got the traction and engine light when I turn on the ignition a week ago, T mechanic got a p2120 and p2138 code. 2 day after I did some research online and unplugged the APP sensor and reseated it, It then worked for a week and it came back first the traction and then the engine light. Well as you know I had to make a U-turn back home, could drive more than 30mph. I will order the APP sensor and replace it in a coupe of day. I will keep you posted if it resolce the problem

Hi, I'm back again, here the latest on my experience, I cleaned the sensor and it seems to work fine only to have it failed on the Highway after driving about 40 miles, then the would not move, it just idle, no response from the pedal, I pulled off the highway and cleaned and retentioned the pins in the sensor again and drove back home but with the warning lights on the panel display on. I put the new pedal on and it worked fine until the next day while the vehicle was idling the light came back on and I it will not drive more than 30MPH. My next move is to go for the ECM, I will keep informed, but at the same time does anyone have a suggestion.
