Discuss the causes and fixes for P2105 Chevrolet OBDII Code

  • So I have the code p2105 on my 2005 chevtrailblazer, v8. I just put a new accelerator pedal position sensor on and now the truck wont start. Please help.

  • Could you please double check the code number, we have been looking everywhere for that code on the 2005 Chevy Trailblazer and we can not find any information. That code is not listed on the factory service manual for that model year.

  • Hi, I just plugged the code reader into my trailblazer again and thats the code thats coming up. P2105 in my code book is "throttle actuator control system - Forced engine shutdown". My truck wont start.

  • Unfortunately I can't help with that code, there is no information on the 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer V8 factory service manual for the P2105 code.

  • I have the code P2105 showing up on my 2008 Chevrolet Aveo. I had the throttle body replaced and a new battery put in, it worked for the drive home from the shop. I went to crank the car the next morning and the car died and the code popped up again. Any ideas on what could be causing it?

  • The throttle body usually take care of the code, it is possible that the throttle body connector came loose after the drive home. Check the throttle body connector and if the connector is OK, then try disconnecting the car battery for about 30 minutes to reset the system.

  • I have disconnected the battery it will reset the check engine light and the car will crank and run for about a min at an idle around 1k rpms then it will drop to around 400-500 rpms then cut off and the check engine light comes back on with the same code. I have not checked the wire going to the throttle body yet though.
