Thanks. It is an 07 Odyssey EX-L. The check engine light came on with a P1717 (severity unknown) and it had the blinking green "D" until the next time I started it. The check engine light was still on but the blinking did not happen after that one time. I tried also to clear the codes and it came on quickly after I cleared it. The same p1717 popped up.

I did want to say that there is no noticeable difference in the way the car drives. I guess it just sort of scares me a little bit to have any issue related to the transmission. I have read a few posts were some people have driven like this for years. I am definitely somebody who would like to try to take care of it. The Honda dealership has the part in for $113. I know I can get it cheaper at Advance or AutoZone or RockAuto but I would also rather have an oem part since the difference isn't too much. I can definitely try to clean it first though
