  • I have a 2008 Legacy with P1710 code. My son replaced the sensor and reset all error codes. The car ran smoothly for about a month and yesterday the same code and hard shifting returned. Continued to "crawl" for few blocks and suddenly the car returned back to normal. At home checked with OBDII and found P1710 logged but the speed sensor 2 has live rpm that means it is working.
