Hello,
I received an error code of P1705 on my 99 Camry LE a few months ago. The car would not not move in drive and would idle high, but it would move in reverse every now and then. I replaced the Direct Clutch Speed Sensor, I replaced the transmission filter and replaced the fluids and it fixed the problem for about 5 months, and now my car won't move in reverse again. The fluid level is fine and it will go into all the other gears except reverse. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what this could be? By the way, the transmission does have over 300,000 miles on it, but it was changed quite regularly.
