I have a 2010 Dodge Caliber and got the P1607 code after simply replacing a cooling fan relay switch that had corroded. I didn't have the check engine light prior to that, only after I made the repair. I cant imagine I screwed anything else up as I had the battery disconnected because the fan running had drained it (overnight). It was simply unplug the faulty relay (after tearing the front end apart), plug the new one in, button the front end back up, and then reconnect the now charged battery. Was very simplistic. What did I miss or is normal? I'm finding a lot of "normal" things with this Dodge Caliber. Thankx for your input.
