hey i have 2004 maxima and i had a new engine put in, idk if it has anything to do with the tranny causing this issue but i can't shift from P-R i would have to go first P-D and the from D-R in order for me to in reverse, and with i do shift its a hard jerk. nothing at all, just the Engine is still shifts pretty crazy and when I go to shift it from park to Reverse it won't go unless I go to drive and then revrse. i also noticed that i was over filled with fuild i took some out but it didnt help.
