2003 Pilot - Had P1399 code, plus all the codes for each cylinders misfiring. Check engine light and VTM 4 lights on. Spent $1400 on replacing many parts (ERG, coils, plugs, valve job). Ended up being antifreeze leaking on exhaust near o2 sensor #1. If you smell antifreeze or see smoke coming up from exhaust manifold, this could be your issue.

I have a 2001 honda prelude base model. My misfire used to be isolated to one cylinder, the 4th cylinder, and I was told by a honda tech to replace and clean the egr valve. I've replaced the valve, and the car has even less power to the motor now, almost stalls while idling and the weirdest part is that i now believe the misfire is in all 4 cylinders. I've done compression, fuel injector looked good on the 4th cylinder, even newer than the rest (im assuming previous owner had similar issue), ive had the timing checked, plugs wires and distributor cap are good, everything seems to be in order.
