Read codes with a Gendan Engine Check Pro laptop program, which gave the code P1261 Stored Mfr-spec Cylinder #1 High to Low Side Short. Removed electric plug with engine running from #1 injector, no difference in engine symptons, only #1 was "missing". Read the above thread and decided on the following action. 1. Faulty Fuel Injector - Possible ? 2. Faulty Fuel Injector Interface Module - doubtful as only #1 affected.3. Fuel Injector Harness is Open/Shorted,- Possible. 4.Fuel Injector Circuit Poor Electrical Contact -Possible.Decided to check the electric Plug connecting the harness to #1 injector, disconnected the plug and sprayed CONTACT CLEANER into both the Male & Female connectors,left to soak for 2 mins, then used a small diameter rubber tube to blow out the plugs to remove the excess fluid.Reconnected plug to #1, then started engine. Still missing for 5 seconds but then cleared and ran fine, all now OK.
