      • For the Ford Figo diesel, P1213 and P0A09 showing together tell you the system is blocking fuel injection because one or more required signals aren’t present. That’s why the injectors won’t open even after changing and programming the ECU.

        Here’s what you should check:

        1. Fuel rail pressure during cranking
        These engines need high pressure before the ECU allows injection. If the high-pressure pump is weak, the fuel filter is clogged, or there’s a leak in the rail/injector return, the ECU will shut the injectors off and set P1213. A pressure test is the first step.

        2. Crankshaft and camshaft position signals
        If the crank sensor signal is intermittent, the ECU has no timing reference, so it disables injection. This is extremely common on the Figo. Even if there’s no crank sensor code, a weak or noisy signal can still trigger P1213.
