Code P1192 Description

The P1192 diagnostic trouble code (DTC) refers to an issue with the Electronic Throttle System Limp home mode, specifically targeting a malfunction in the Target Follow. This code indicates that the engine control module (ECM) has detected a problem with the electronic throttle control system, which is responsible for regulating the amount of air entering the engine. In normal operation, the throttle position sensor sends signals to the ECM, which then controls the opening and closing of the throttle body to adjust the air-fuel mixture for optimal engine performance.
