When is the code detected?The power management control ECU (HV CPU) monitors its internal operation, it will set DTCs and perform fail-safe control when it detects the following malfunctions. If any of the following DTCs are output, replace the power management control ECU (HV CPU).

If the HV control ECU detects an error in the REF signal, it will conclude that there is a malfunction in the motor main CPU, the REF signal or the HV control ECU. The HV control ECU illuminates the MIL and sets a Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC).
