2001 Chrysler Town & Country P0700 and P0733 solution request.
Fluid level OK when hot.
Fluid not dirty.
Changed Transmission filter.
Changed input and output speed sensors.
Changed solenoid pack.
Upon inspection, when changing fluid found no magnets in the pan, but no to few tiny metal particles but no large flakes. So I added the magnets to the pan when I changed the filter.
Old sensor (right hand looking at the front of the vehicle) showed metal particles.
If the engine codes show P0700 and P0733, then it is my assumption that this is an electrical problem.
Since the TCM was changed 3 years ago, then there is a short which prevents a reading of the 3rd gear ratio.
Need to know if there is another cause or how to pinpoint the bad connection.
