  • I had the code p0713 showing after 2 diagnostic one from the dealer one from a trusted tranny shop I replaced the internal wiring harness it said it was faulty and was shorted out open my 2010 v 6 xle was bought at 82000 miles with a alpha 4 year 100000 mile warranty but they said they don't cover electrical wires that's another story the dealer wanted 1200 to fix it and put a extra wiring harness that wasn't even for my car on the parts list since the warranty company would not cover it I told the dealer to go to hell since I bought the car with the salesman saying it was a 4 year bumper to bumper repeatedly and took it to my transmission shop he said that he could fo it for 550 and would do a tranny service as well when he dropped the pan the oil was dirty and the screen had shavings on it he called the warranty company and they said that they needed the electrical fixed before they would look at the tranny so I paid 500 for the harness to be replaced and then in the next week the car started to shift hard and the lights have come back on and off so I will be taking it back to the tranny shop this week any one else had this issue but the warranty company does cover some electrical but not the wires b.s and internal lubricated parts on the tranny so let's see how they handle this now that the electrical harness is replaced and still having the same issue fyi from the way the warranty company has been so far I wouldn't recommend alpha to anyone I'll let you know what they say this week when I have my car at the tranny shop would love to know if any of you have had this issue have had several toyotas and never had any issues until this one
