hey bro no stress ill try to give you some instructions that helped me ;
1.check if there is fluid in the tcu (its located in the right corner of the engine bay)
if there is no fluid than you move to the next step.2.remove the center console that covers the gear selector, youll find three terminals witch
are; 1st; goes to the C/S botton right beside the PRND.
2nd; goes to the airbag botton
3th;goes to the shifter box.
now here's what to do,the terminal going to the shifter is the actual sensor that tells the cluster in what gear the transmission really is. once you don't see anything on the cluster just unplug the terminal(3th) than wait before putting it back in (30 sec).
if your cluster comes on after this than you know that you'll have to replace the shifter in the car . now that' how i got mine fixed. feel free if you have anything to ask,([email protected]) -
thanks man. you helped alot. but this time the story is some times it works fine but sometimes while driving the car when i want to engage the breaks i hear a click sound inside the selector shifter. and at stop the car will not return to park with my feet on the break. before it goes to park i will have to take my feet off the break. and when it finally returns to park on the instrument cluster the DS sign will still be there instead of the PS indicating park position. intimate me more on this.
