Just replaced alternator AND battery on 2006 Grand Caravan SXT 3.8-V6. Now have the code 0622 pop up after battery light came on. When the old alternator went out, did it short something else out when it's voltage regulator failed?

It's possible, do you have any other symptoms? Is the new alternator charging?
Other than the alternator I have not seen any other components triggering the P0622 code. -
Went to check connection points again, and then went to start. Dead battery . Recharged on charger, still same 0622 code. Note this is a new not rebuilt alternator Remy Delco . Battery new NAPA unit also.

When the engine is running, how many volts you have at the battery? you have to have at least 13.5V less than that, then you have a problem with the alternator not charging, blown alternator fuse or wire from the alternator.
