      • its a 2010 lincoln mkz with a 2010 ford taurus motor swap,
        its throwing code p1000 and P061D now that i hooked a more expensive code reader to it .
        it sounds almost like it wants to start but it just reverts back to clicking, and sometimes it has a strange noise almost like a hard puff of air or a loud pop of air if that makes sence. ive checked the fuses and put a new battery in the vehicle. i replaced the started and checked the belt system to make sure it was still rolling when i try to crank the car and still nothing. how do i test the ecm? and idk if this helps but when i replaced the altinator i found a hose that was underneath my batter which i belive to have found out was a part of my evap system and it was completely snapped in half so i rerouted it with another hose and went about my way. could that have anything to do with it? could my purge valve make it not crank up? its like the will for it to start is there but it doenst have enough gettup to start if that makes sence and im starting to wonder if it isnt like the code said and it dosnt have the correct fuel to air ratio to start, any tips and advice helps out alot as im just trying to start with the basics and move my way up
