  • p0599 came up on my 2016 Cruze LT 1.8. I cleared the code with an OBD2 device and it instantly came back. I reseated the electrical connector to the thermostat housing, released the pressure in the system by removing the overflow cap, then let it sit overnight. This morning I cleared the code and drove it for 25 mins, it hasn't popped back up yet.

  • Thank you for the information! Hopefully the code doesn't come back.
