Hello, I have a 2012 Nissan Versa that is displaying a P0500 Code. The Speedometer does not work, the "Service Engine Soon" Light is on, the ABS light is on, Tire Pressure Light is on, the Brake light is on, and the Traction Light is on. My ABS Sensor cord needs to be replaced. I had a tire blow out in April and the ABS cord snapped. The ABS light, Traction Light, and tire Pressure light came on first. How as of 2 days ago in July, all the other lights have popped on and the speedometer does not function. could this all be caused by the ABS cord not Working? Is the ABS cord apart of the speed sensor?
-
Yes, the ABS sensor cord is the cause of the problem. The Engine Control Module (ECM) calculates the vehicle speed from the sensors.
