    I went to the Nissan Dealer in Conyers GA today and they replaced the Speed Sensor A, but after a road test, the check engine light came back on again. Then they told me that I would have to replace my 18" tires and rims that are Nissan spec exact size, with the original size 16" tires / rims that came with the car. The Nissan dealer also explained to me that there is a sensor on the car that automatically adjusts to different tire sizes. I have seen Altimas with 20" tires / rims with no problem. i said that is BS and makes no sense to me, when I saw a 2012 Altima in their service bay with 18" tires today. Can I contact Nissan directly, since my Emission Test is coming up, and as of now, my car won't pass emissions.

  • Yes, you should call, I haven't seen oversize wheel setting the code. What I have seen is mismatch tires or wheels setting the code.
