  • I have same problem with 2008 Santa Fe, 6 cy. Check engine light also on.

  • Your Santa Fe has 2 "Fuel Level Sender Unit" one with the fuel pump and the other one by it self. There are some test that needs to be done to determine exactly which is the bad one, but the most common one is the one by it self (Sub Fuel Sender) (Number 3 on the image below.
