Discuss the causes and fixes for P0462 Ford OBDII Code
-
I haven't replaced any parts yet. After engine light came I was getting codes 0460 and 0462 on my 2003 ford focus. And the car idle will hesitate when stopped at a light and on occasion accelerating at incline. Do need to replace the complete sending unit? Or only float level? Need help on part no. too
-
The hesitation problem may not be related to the Fuel Sending Unit problem, but you should fix that problem first.
For the P0462 and P0460 code you have to replace the Fuel Sending Unit, as far as I know the float is not available by itself.
