this code is very specific.. either your evap control valve/plunger is bad or one of the two wires to the control valve wire harness is bad/cut... much better that it be the valve itself... check the valve by removing it and connecting it to a 12 volt battery.. if it clicks loudly.. and the internal plunger slides to close the valve.. then the control valve is operational... if not, replace.. otherwise start checking the wireharness using a volt/multi meter to find the bad connection... 12 volt side to ground to check for voltwge and ecm side to pin 117 ecm control unit to check for continuety, ohms.....
