Hello,
Looking for help 2004 Hyundai Elantra 420 code. Replaced Catalytic Converter, resonator, both ho2 sensors. After reset code drive 50 miles service light comes back on. I'm suspect of air leak on manifold or gasket. I want to be sure before replacement. Any testing ideas or repair ideas appreciated.

I have an 03 Sonata gls 2.7L. I took it in to have the codes read and at first it read that the post cat. o2 sensor was faulty. It was suggested I drive another cycle. I brought it back and it read all o2 sensors were not good including the cat. Drove it again and now it reads front bank o2 sensor bad. He suggest I keep driving. I replaced the front o2 sensor last smog and it passed after nearly 500 miles of driving. The engine light has been off steady now or about a week here as before it was on from time to time. Was wondering if anyone has had this problem. Smog on this car has been a pain every time. Any suggestion for a quicker resolution would be appreciated. I have six days to get a smog and limited income. Thank you

Thank you. Been running low octane with Seafoam additive the last couple months and on and off since the last smog.. Have fresh oil and new air cleaner. The engine light came on again today after sitting for a little over an hour then went off after the car was parked.. No exhaust leaks detected. I will try an octane booster and higher octane next fill.. The tank is over half full now. Thanks again
