    What did you do to fix

  • Just ran into this problem today on a 2005Sante Fe 3.5 V6 with 108k miles. Cranks forever but will not start. Code scan showed P0320.
    Starting fluid (ether) did not help when I thought the problem might be a bad fuel pump but I did hear/feel an occasional pulse as a cylinder fired. I held the throttle to the floor thinking the engine might be flooded and it did eventually start but speed came up slowly and "idle" was about 2000 RPM. Tachometer operation was erratic and sometimes dropped to 0 at "idle."
    When I cleared the P0320 as the engine "idled" it quit instantly and I had to repeat the "foot to the floor" exercise to get it started again.
    I'll replace the ignition malfunction monitor tomorrow and see it the starting/running problem is fixed.
