  • My 2011 Town and Country van had the "check engine" light come on at about 134,000 (odometer) miles. It happened within a week of a Chrysler dealer installing a new cam position sensor (phaser). The code, was P0420 and P0302. I had a local mechanic repair the issue by installing a new oxygen sensor for P0420 and six new spark plugs plus a new coil on cylinder two spark plug for P0302. Within a day the check engine light came on again and showed the same codes. The mechanic checked all connections and exchanged the new coil with cylinder one to see if the P0302 changed to P0301, which it didn't. He said that he couldn't help me any further.

    I am making this post to see if someone has had the same problem and can offer some insight.
