my 2005 is showing codes numbers p0269 and p0272 truck runs rough at start up if you let it warm up it sounds better but not good milage and is leaking oil like crazy. Does anyone have any idea. Thanks roger

You probably have a faulty Injector #3. Replacing the injector usually takes care of the problem.
-
You need special additives and special tool to run an injector flush. If you prefer you can try by just adding a fuel injector additive that you can buy at any auto parts store or you can have your repair shop or dealer do the flush.
-
I have a 06 f250 with the 6.0 and a code P0269 came up. Truck is running rough and lose of power. Should I just change the injector or could I try adding an additive to hopefully clean the injector?
-
I recommend trying with a fuel additive and high octane gas first. I had a customer with the same vehicle and same problem, but the code only comes when low octane gas is used.
-
I just replaced injector #3 but the truck still runs rough and p0269 is still present. The harness looks fine no signs of wear spots and the connector looks fine
