I have a 1997 Ford F150 4.2L V6 5 speed manual transmission. Having code P0174. I have a Torque Scan that gives live Fuel Trim Bank 2 Long Term...it is reading 25..full amount. I have cleaned the MAF sensor and installed new O2 sensors...still receiving the P0174. I have also checked for any Intake Air Leaks..no leaks. Checked the fuel pressure and it reads about 30 PSI. New PCV valve and also checked all lines for air leak...everything is fine. Installed new fuel filter also. You thoughts/input would be greatly appreciated...thanks and take care One other thing..O2 Volts Bank 2 sensor 2 is usually on the 0.02 reading??

Thanks very much for your response and information. I have used fuel additive to clean the carbon build up. I have also used Sea Foam to clean valves. Still having code P0174. I just checked the new PCV valve and hose assembly and everything is in good condition. The Breather Hose hose was removed and has NO vacuum pressure....nothing...has no change in truck RPM or performance when breather hose line is removed. Therefore I think it must have a leak. Could this be the intake manifold gasket??? Thanks and take care!

Just an update on the 1997 Ford F150 4.2L V6 5-speed trans. I have cured this code issue P0174 and idling issues. There were 2 issues/problems. Issue #1: The PCV connector Under Upper Intake (DORMAN 46022) was leaking slightly...I could not see it until it was removed. Issue #2: The throttle body was leaking air due to being so old and having so many miles on it. Repaired leak on throttle body and now it idles well and No check engine light.
