I have a 2001 E-350 which was converted to 4x4 with a 2003 F-250 tranny and transfer case.
My Reverse went out and I've just had the transmission totally rebuilt. The tranny shop hooked up their computer to the van before it came it and it had several codes. Those codes were cleared and after installing the tranny, the shop again hooked up their computer. 2 codes came back, P0113 and P0470. The tranny shop told me these need to be addressed because they can mess with gas mileage, transmission shift points, and the van thinks it's pulling a heavy load all the time.
I've done some research online and some suggest to try cleaning these two sensors. Is this enough, and if so, where are these sensors located? -
