  • Can you please explain why a Factory sensor is needed? Why not a third party MAF sensor? I'm interested in eveyone's final resolution. I have a 2011 Rogue - filter replaced, MAF sensor twice, NISSAN did a computer update for $150. I know I will never buy another nissan.

  • From my experience, some aftermarket MAF do not meet the factory specifications. At my shop we had many problems with aftermarket MAFs. For that reason, when the problem is the MAF, I always recommend factory replacement part.
