  • I have just replaced all timing chains, tensioners, and guides on my 06 maxima and I got the 0021 code. I then filtered the engine oil, which is new syntetic type, and cleaned the oil filter. The "service engine soon" light was off for a full day. the light has come back now and this time I will clean the oil, filter, and the oil pan to see if the light stays off.
