Sharon I found my problem and fixed it and still have a p0016. I lost the timing belt, 2.4, PT Crusier.I put a new belt on yesterday and it starts and runs better than it ever has, being I bought it used. I had a cam sensor go bad and it would lung and back off and it wouldn't go over 50. I have the lunging back but different, now it does it at high rpm rather than low. Could it be the con board is confused and driving will eventually find that nothings wrong

Its an 09 and the belt was wrapped around the crank, I replaced head gasket when I bought it. It had 95000 miles and I knew better but didn't replace the belt or water pump it the same time. But I like working on Mopars, there a challenge, by the way I'm a retired electrician. But my first love was being a mechanic, it isn't work.

Do you really think the belt breaking on the front of the engine, could cause a sensor to malfunction, that's located inside the engine block by the starter.
