2008 Pontiac G6 Gt 3.5 by code reads p0010 says its camshaft actuator sole from the fixd diagnostics tool I had used. Now o'Reillys says it's a camshaft position sensor. When I'm driving and it goes into another gear, I loose power and my rpms shoot way up to like 4 and it takes couple seconds for it to shift and gain power again. I bought the actuator solenoid and was trying to find out before I put it in if I should've changed the sensor first. Should I take back the actuator and get sensor instead ?
