Discuss the causes and fixes for C1130 Infiniti OBDII Code
-
The C1130 means that the Antilock Brake System (ABS) is not receiving the a signal from the Engine Control Module. There should be a code in the Engine Control Module (ECM) something like Pxxxx. Whatever is triggering the engine code it's probably the cause of the problem. Code in the ABS system usually will not cause the engine to stall. In other word the C1130 is not the cause, is the result.
-
I just began having this exact problem myself. Car shut off in traffic twice, full tank of gas and everything. Check engine, slip ,and ABS are all illuminated on the dash... getting codes "C1130 and P0340" Thank you in advance for help..

The problem is more than likely the camshaft position sensor.

No, the C1130 is more than likely triggered because something else is causing the rough idle and power loss. Common causes for the symptoms are fuel pump and ignition coils.
-
My fuel pump and ignition coils are fine. I just swapped my transmission and ever since then I lost almost all power. My ecu is blocking the scanner from reading it it keeps saying no communication and not entering the system I swapped out spark plugs. Catalytic converter.
02 sensors and more and still nothing. Bogs and no power at all. And even in park and neutral the car doesn rev right when pressing the gas -
Did you use a new, rebuild or used transmission? The transmission you are using is probably not compatible with the the ECM on your G.
-
As far as I know the only solution is to have the dealer reprogram the TCM and ECM
-
Non of the codes are directly related, but the most important is the P0335. I recommend starting by clearing all the codes first. If all the codes come back, you should start by fixing the P0335 code, which is the most important and common one.

I recommend fixing the crankshaft position sensor first, because that may take care of the the other two sensors.
Yaw sensor is under the center console.
For the C1130, you could start by clearing the code and cleaning the ABS control unit sensor. If the light comes back then you may have to replace the ABS control unit. -
Were is the abs control unit censor? And i was thinking of cleaning the maf sensor and the throttole body too and changing the camshaft and crankshaft sensor while im at it
-
Ok ill let you know what happens tomorrow if nothing works then im taking it to the dealership i have extended warrenty

have an 03 infiniti g35 and getting codes, p0345 c1109 c1155 and c1130. the car has been cutting out while in transit.
-
The "C" codes shouldn't cause the engine cutting problem. Mor than likely the problem is the Camshaft Position Sensor. If possible replace both sides, it's a common problem.

Sounds like you may have a problem with the ABS Control Module, but that usually wont cause an engine performance problem. Have you tried clearing the codes?
Common causes for the engine to sputter are bad gas, spark plugs or fuel injectors. When was the last time you service (spark plugs and filters) your G35?
-
I have an 2004 infinity g35 I had the crank shaft position sensor fixed and a week later my car cut off and it's back to running under powered my check engine light came back on my vdc and my slip light came on as well now the code is c1130 and thats the only code what do I do ??
-
Unfortunately, this C1130 doesn't explain exactly what the problem is. Could b a problem with the ABS, the Engine Control Module (ECM) or a sensor. The SLIP and VDC lights, came ON because of the engine stall.
My best guess is that one of the "Camshaft Position Sensors" fail, cause the engine to stall and trigger the C1130 and the warning lights.
When one of the sensors (Camshaft or Crankshaft Position) fail, we usually recommend replacing all 3 sensors.
-
My G35 triggered 4 sensors after it kinda slipped at a speed of 80mph and then it the VDC, check engine, and slip lights all lit up. These are the codes c1130, p1815,p1705,p0340. Ideas on how to correct?
-
None of the codes circuits are related, you should start by clearing all the codes and checking the transmission fluid level and condition, then check what code (s) come back first.

Looks like you may have two different problems, one with the ABS system and one with the key. Besides the engine light, do you have any other symptoms?

2003 g35. codes c1130 and p035
car had problem starting up. changed the camshaft sensors on both sides. check engine light turned off but came back on the same day -
Is the P0335 code? if it is then the problem is the "Crankshaft Position Sensor" and not the "Camshaft Position Sensor".

Other than the Camshaft Position Sensors, I have not seen any other component triggering both the C1130 and P0345 codes. I've checked a national database of repairs for your model year and for 143 repairs with the same codes, the camshaft position sensor was the solution.
My only recommendation is to double check the the sensor connector. Many times the connectors pop of the sensor. -
Ive got a 06 G335 sedan 2wd Im getting the Code C1130, I was getting the code P0340 but i changed out the sensors already and that code is gone. The car inst starting not sure if you need that info or not.
-
Have you tried clearing the code? how long it takes to come back? is not common to have the C1130 code after replacing the Camshaft Position Sensor.
-
Yeah i cleared it and it doesn't come back, car still wont start but im not getting anymore codes.
-
Star by checking the battery charge. If the battery is OK, then check the alternator charging. If both are OK, then you could have a problem with the alternator
