Possible causes

  • Faulty Yaw Rate Sensor
  • Yaw Rate Sensor harness is open or shorted
  • Yaw Rate Sensor circuit poor electrical connection

For 4WD vehicles, this Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) may be set when a vehicle is lifted up and its wheel(s) is turned. In such case, clear the DTC and check again.

The Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Module monitors the Yaw Rate Sensor. If the signal voltage of G sensor while at a stop does not vary from that while running, this Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) is set.
