I'm getting the C1000 and U0401 (Implausible Data Received From ECM/PCM) code. Symptoms are trailer brake disconnected dash warning (so far with no trailer attached), CF code on trailer brake controller, ESM malfunction indicator is lit, and if I am using cruise control it turns off. And, if I am reading the above correctly, my stop lamps are disabled. I was not aware of this until now. I replaced my brake switch with a non-OEM unit and although it did seem to help I still have the issue.
