If it does not turn on on startup sometimes, people have fixed it by just replacing the POwer Steering Motor which includes teh angle sensor. Ford says you got to replace the whole steering column , but it is not true. Replace just the PS motor and it can be done easily without removing the steering wheel or airbags... This is what I 've found reading..
