    What does blinkinging O/D off light mean?

    It means that there is a problem with the transmission. You should get the transmission codes read with an OBDII codes  scanner

    it might just mean a poor connection also.  try unplugging your overdrive and run it without overdrive to see if your light remains off then plug it back in and see what happens.when your light blinks can you feel it going in and out of o/d.
